SARNIA SNOWFEST IS EXTENDING AN INVITATION TO ALL INDUSTRIES, BUSINESSES & CHARITIES IN THE GREATER SARNIA AREA – join in the spirit of Sarnia’s Snowfest by being part of our fund raising efforts during Snowfest.
We are looking for businesses and charities in our Sarnia/Lambton Community to help us raise funds for the charity of their choice. Enter your snow sculpting team in our Charity Challenge
Teams will be required to sculpt an 8 ft. tall column of snow into a work of art. They will be judged by the International artists carving at Sarnia Snowfest as well as by the public, who will vote with their loonies and toonies or cheques. In front of each sculpture will be a donation box indicating the charity chosen by that team. This is a WIN-WIN situation, as all teams will raise money for their charity. We also encourage each team to solicit the help of their chosen charity, and to put forth their best efforts in getting businesses and the general public to come on out and vote with their donation!Please use this opportunity to promote your charity with banners, brochures etc.
CHARITIES WISHING TO ENTER
THERE ARE OPENINGS AVAILABLE . Once accepted, teams will be given the opportunity to consult with professional snow sculptors prior to the event to discuss procedures, techniques, tools, etc.
In order for your company to enter you must be a Gold PLUS Sponsor or higher of Sarnia Snowfest. This entitles your Company to all the promotional benefits of a Gold Sponsorship and helps us cover part of the costs involved in hosting this event.
